Distance -
In simple terms, the longer the distance, the higher
the cost. There is no minimum distance for any delivery,
but typically the minimum charge for a movement will be
in the region of £50-75 regardless of distance. Lead
Times -The more flexible that you are on collection
and delivery dates the lower the cost will be. If you
need your car moved on a specific date or at a specific
time, this can increase the cost by up to 100%. Vehicle Type/Size - Expect to pay 20-50% more for a people carrier
or 4x4 over a regular sized car due to its extra size
and weight.
Access Restrictions - If access is tight for
a full size car transporter at the collection or delivery
location then a more expensive 1-2 car transporter may
need to be used. Running/ Non
Running Vehicles - If your vehicle is accident damaged
or not running due to mechanical problems a recovery vehicle
with a winch will need to be used. |
